Cherrypickers' Guide: 5th ed., Vol. II --- under way!

Over the past few weeks here at Whitman Publishing we've been immersed
in roll-up-your-sleeves working meetings with Bill Fivaz and Ken Potter,
putting the finishing touches on the newest Cherrypickers' Guide,
5th edition, volume II. These immersion meetings follow up on months
of preparation, research, image gathering, market evaluation, and
consultation with experts throughout the hobby.
The new book covers half dimes through federal gold, plus classic
commemoratives, and silver, gold, and platinum bullion coins.
More VAMs... State quarters... modern dollars... lots of fresh half dollars...
expansions in the dimes... it's been a lot of fun working on this volume!
We logged a six-and-a-half-hour meeting today, breaking for 30 minutes
for turkey sandwiches from Jason's Deli, and wrapped up a significant amount
of work. We're circling in on completion --- stay tuned!

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
<< <i>Do you see this as supplementing what is already out there or do you see this as being able to replace the previous AND give extra info? >>
Unequivocally the latter.
Every element of narrative, data, pricing, interest levels, liquidity, etc., is being scrutinized. Market valuations have been studied and analyzed, coin by coin, in great detail. Not only are there new varieties listed, there are entire new sections. The topic of counterfeit die varieties is addressed. This new volume is both an update and a fresh new book.
Duh! Almost forgot to ask, did you folks straighten out the goof ups with the Type B Reverse Quarters? If not, put that at or near the top of your list!
Hint, while page 152, the overall descriptionm has the correct pictures, virtually every individual dated picture is incorrect and shows not the Type B arrow points but the Type C arrow points.
Specifically:
1956 on page 188 shows the Type C Arrow Points,
1957 on page 189 pictures the Type C Arrow Points
1958 on page 189 pictures the Type C Arrow Points
1959 on page 190 pictures the Type C Arrow Points
1960 on page 192 pictures the Type C Arrow Points
1961 on page 193 pictures the Type C Arrow Points
1962 on page 195 pictures the Type C Arrow Points
1963 on page 198 pictures the Type C Arrow Points
1964 on page 202 pictures the Type C Arrow Points.
1969, 1970, 1971, and 1972 are not even mentioned.
The name is LEE!
Appreciate having you on the boards and giving info "from the horse's mouth"

<< <i>This is exciting. Any projections for when it might be available? >>
Before the end of the year. We'll be making an announcement at the 2011 ANA World's Fair of Money in Chicago, a few weeks from now.
<< <i>Good to know, thank you.

The pleasure is mine!
I was not a cherrypicker before I started working for Whitman. But you can't read the CPG without getting interested and excited --- it's easy to get bitten by the bug! I just bought a mini-hoard of 100+ Eisenhower dollars and I've been going through them this week.

Will the electronic version have more detail then the two small photographs per variety?
Another question, will all the worthy varieties be listed or is Whitman Publishing holding back and only going to include a small handful "piece meal" at a time so to guarantee a 6th .. 7th.. 8th.. 9th and so on Editions?
