Holy Barber submission Batman!

I dropped off a boatload of coins at the Philly show, 4 submissions... 1 with 19 coins, that was 4 dimes and 15 Halves for my VF sets. I also did 3 reholders and a Quarterly special plus another submission that I talked about in another thread.

I just saw the grades on the big one.. I'm speechless! imageimageimage

    Re: Slabbed coins - There are some coins that LIVE within clear plastic and wear their labels with pride... while there are others that HIDE behind scratched plastic and are simply dragged along by a label. Then there are those coins that simply hang out, naked and free image

    Actually 2 of those are Pop 1 coins.

    The 03-P Dime (No surprise, it's a common) was a pop 0 in XF40, now it's a pop 1, mine.
    The 01-P Half though was one of 9 Barbers that PCGS hasn't graded in every VF grade, 3 of those being the 1892-O Micro-o

    Tells me you got the eye. Nice work and congrats. That has to be one of the most satisfying feelings when you get them all back without a BB (sorry I meant Genuine) in the bunch.

    Incredible! that is definitely a grandslam homer submission. PCGS always BB at least one of mine (about 10%), to get another grading fee, and then the next time through gets in plastic miraculously . 19/19 = phenomenal! image
    Do your best to avoid circular arguments, as it will help you reason better, because better reasoning is often a result of avoiding circular arguments.

    Thanks! I honestly thought that a few of them would come back in Genuine holders tho. I do have 13 coins at PCGS now and on the submission before this I was 4 out of 5, the one that got hit with a Genuine is a nice original coin so I think I will crack that one out and try again. It's a 92-P Half, and that coin has a very low pop in VF, maybe that's why they were tough on it?

    Well with the latest round I now have my Barber set up to just over 60% completion, and I do have 2 more raw coins to submit in transit plus I have another 4 being graded.

    Not bad in just over 4 months, eh? image

    I'm losing my mind...

    I have 7 Halves in for grading... 98-O, 02-O, 03-O, 07-O, 08-P, 10-P and 14-P. Plus I have 2 more raw coming in and I'm going to give the 92-P another shot or two...

    I did some checking, you goofed one up, you had one as a VF30 but it came back VF35... tsk tsk imageimage
