Please grade this 1868 IHC (Updated) FYI - it graded

Also, do you think the scratch from the 8 to the rim is going to only Genuine this cent?

    I doubt that the small scratch would keep it from BBing, but unless you are going for the Official PVC Coins Set Registry, why bother submitting? image

    I'd be more concerned with the scratch on the reverse than the one that goes from the 8 to the rim. Is that a scratch or is the coin in some type of holder.


    I'd grade it VF-25 details. I don't think that it would holder because of the pvc and reverse scratch.


    Love the date though!

    This is for my cicr set. I have a lot worst slab cents than this one. I also have for freebie grades coming and this is one of the 4 cents needed to finish the set. The scratch on the rev is on the flip. Unless they are using a loop to grade IHC , she looks ok in hand. But the grade is puzzling to me. By the ANA, it looks like a FN 15, but the rev is better than that. That is why I am throwing it to you folks to help.

    12 the verdigris won't hurt the grade at this level but the reverse scratch and the obverse scratch knock it down to fine12.

    Got grades last night. Used a free voucher, just in case. She is a FN 15.
