Since he claims its available nowhere in the world.....

    Q: What is in VERDI-GONE™?
A: The active ingredient is a proprietary reacted molecule and absolutely not available anywhere else in the world. Each batch is individually chemist created in a laboratory.

........I wonder if he did all of his Government/EPA busy work.

    Yes he did.

We have the required Material Saftey Data Sheets ( harmless ) and all legal bases have been thouroughly covered.

As a break out product, I expect and understand some hesitation and I personally back this product fully. One of the first orders placed was a CU member, I am waiting for a reply and hope to see his results posted soon.

The formula is only available in one place. I will now back down from this thread to avoid a conflict or spam accusations.

guys, I really have to be careful here, This is not an advertisment. I am just answering questions. 2 more bottles went out to board members today, I would prefer if they would start a thread with honest opinions and before/after pics.

Very light verdigris can be removed in a matter of minutes. Typical times range from 5 minutes to an hour. Every coin is different and times will vary depending on the thickness of the verdigris layer. Also, for light verdigris, a dilution of approximately 50% VERDI-GONE™ and 50% distilled water is recommended. The weaker the solution and the less the exposure time the better. That is the key to effective use of the product.

Here is the coin. It looks much worse here than in person. The dark spot is not visible at all.

However there is enough info present to give some insight as to what it could be.

Always start by trying distilled water and then xylenes before using VERDI-GONE™. There appears to be some organic matter mixed in with the verdigris. Also, unfortunately, that coin has not fully oxidized (browned), so VERDI-GONE™ may not be suitable. The product is not recommended for red/BU coins.

IMO you have nothing to lose by trying it on a low value coin.

It does seem to work - on brown Lincolns at least.
