Just got a spam eMail from them asking for copies of any notices eBay sent when ending their auctions.

I probably bought from them many years ago, but nothing recently. I was surprised to get the email. Must be a huge mailing list.

Not sure they will get that help. I could care less and delete them as soon as I see them. I also never asked them to send me newsletters but they do it anyway. info they obtained from e-bay. I believe it is against e-bay rules for them to do that. image

I got both messages (the Overstock notice and the plea for copies of eBay notices). They're digging deep for help, I don't think I've bought from them in at least three years.

  • Spam = unsolicited usually commercial e-mail sent to a large number of addresses.

I think when you send to your customer base it is legal. Anyone who got a email from them not purchase from them?

Fleabay has a thing called fav sellers, you can SELECT to receive mailings from sellers. Unsolicited mail is against the rules.

Received both emails from them. I have only bought PCGS graded Jefferson's from them. They should have no problems listing them.

  • I have no problem with anyone who has sold something to me sending an email updating me on their business. That's a common business practice?? I should add he sold me a nice seated quarter problem free.

With all the raw gold he buys on eBay, he should be able to.
