Just did a little experiment as to the new pres. errors.....big pics

on quarter planchets ability to go through the rolling machines without getting rejected..........As i stated in another post we have a Glory WR-200 rolling machine.
First we dumped approx. 2500 of the pres. dollars in our machine along with (6) quarters........it rolled all the dollars and rejected all (6) quarters.
Next I put a quarter through my rolling mill and flattened it to approx. the diameter of the dollars, put (24) dollars and (1) flattened quarter in the machine........rolled a perfect 25 count roll !
The roll weighed approx. 197.9 grams..here are some pics.....it is very possible that these errors will be found in rolls!

But you had to alter the quarter to make it work. Are you saying if the pres. image is stamped on the quarter planchet that it will flatten similar to what you did?
I would think that it would to some extent........maybe we can get Mr. Weinberg to comment......he would know!
