Weekend purchase - 1886-P VAM 1C Morgan - 3+2 Clashes

The scans don't show the luster, but the coin looks very nice in hand. I'm thinking it's MS64. Opinions?

At an angle, it has a pattern on dots on the obverse. Is this light textile toning marks or did the dealer have a cold?

Something to look out for are the very early state of 3+3 clashes. I sent Leroy a prooflike of that issue and he updated things to relate it. The clashing most certainly occured during die set up, with the dies dancin with rotations. The obverse was obviously replaced before coins were struck, which is why we have never seen a specimen with any clashing on the obverse, despite the excessive reverse clashing. Anyway, the 3+3 ones will probably be found to be excessively rare and probably will bring much higher money in the future. Worth looking for.
