Anyone go to the Doyle auction in NYC today?

I'm betting nobody went to the Doyle New York auction today. If anyone did, I'd love to know what was actually in lot 393:

393: Group of Assorted Gold Coins
Ap. 40 dwt.
Sold for $3000

Seems like someone either got a bunch of counterfeits (probably would get a refund from the auctioneer if so?) or one heck of a rip...
