Cheerios sac dollar

image
I recently submitted a cheerios sacagawea dollar to NGC for grading and received back an MS67 grade, but without the pattern designation. Is NGC still indicating the pattern on slabs of these coins? The above photo is of the actual coin submitted. Do forum members any suggestions as to how I should follow up this situation to have the coin slabbed with the proper pattern designation?

    Angelo,

Do a search on "cheerio" in the US Coin Forum there must be at least 50 threads on this subject and alot of info on who grades and what the criteria is.

They have an established category for them, did you submit it in the original packaging? I would call up customer service and ask them--thats a multi-thousand dollar coin there, and you dont want to mistake it for some chump change 2000 Sac

maybe ngc simply did not look hard enough and thought
    it was a common coin.

you know how it is, with 10 seconds to grade and all. wanting lunch
at 11:30am, need to go to the bathroom, blah blah

oops mistake made. you the customer are out time and money.
i cannot imagine anyone sending in a cherrios sac

and NOT WANT THE DARN THING LABELED AS SUCH.

i would, if i have worked for ngc, made a quick call before
slabbing it asking the customer for sure.
