This piece from my personal collection has been on the DL for a couple of months. It just turned up in a box of British Silver coins(?!?).

It is a Baker-333 token, circa 1840. These medalets were produced by the Washington Temperence Benevolent Association, also known as the Washingtonians. There are probably around 20 known pieces, the vast majority of which are holed for suspension. I think the average grade for these is XF40 or so. This piece is a solid AU58. The only finer example I've ever seen is a deeply toned full-on gem in an NGC MS64 holder (which I own).

And no, Andy, I am not drinking. image
