Good Luck and feel free to email me with any questions!
Thanks and Happy Holiday's! >>
This seller actually responded to my question about this Coin. I don't know much about early Matte Proof Lincolns so I just thought I'd ask. Not to be superior or nothing.

<< <i>Please tell me how this Coin of yours can be identified as a former Matte Proof Coin. I seriously would like to know.

You state that the Coin "fits the description of the Matte Proof coin " , I just wanted to know how exactly it fit that description. I emailed you the question and the rude answer you gave me doesn't help me understand how you know the coin is a former matte proof.
I'm thinking you just grabbed an off the wall description out of thin air to try to fool someone into bidding far more than the Coin is worth. This is a serious problem on eBay among fraudulent sellers of Coins. You are walking a path that could very well lead to a criminal complaint some day. I would advise you to rethink your selling strategies before you raise the ire of the wrong people.
Darn, I was going to ask that question but got this:

That's one eBay seller I'm going to keep my eye on. Sounds like a beginning wannabee baby of a Coin Seller. Probably in need of some cash - just like a lot of us. Most likely meant no harm at all with her "Matte Proof description ".
