New purchases from the PAN show

I went down to Monroeville for the PAN show on the 22nd and found it to be pretty darn sloooow. I don't know if it was the weather or what, but when I went in May the place was shoulder to shoulder packed. At any rate, the light bourse traffic made it possible for me to comfortably take my time and find a few nice pieces. These are the U.S. coins I picked up at the show:

This 1928 Oregon Trail Commem screamed at me when I saw it. I've wanted one of these for about two years and due to the fact that I had a lot of stuff to trade I only had to pony up $90 in cash. I'm very happy about this purchase.

Here we have a solid, unmolested XF 1921 Peace Dollar. A little darker than I'd ideally like, but I was determined to take an original example home with me to replace the ANACS net graded XF I sold in August.

And finally, I have entered the Circle of Bust, and the Circle of Crust to boot. I spent about two and a half hours looking for a no problems Capped Bust Half and visited several tables. This is the first and only circulated example I found that didn't have the usual issues - cleaning, scratches, rim dings, corrosion, etc. According to the dealer it's an O-106, R3. I know nothing of such designations yet, but I do know that this has very appealing original surfaces and a really cool die crack around the bottom of the obverse (it doesn't show very well in my crappy images).
All in all I'd say the PAN show was a rousing success for me and I had a blast. I Already can't wait for spring.
