If wishes were horses...

If there is one regret or several regrets you have in collecting coins, what would they be? Maybe it was three-legged buffalo you passed up on for $40.00 at a flea market or a roll of 1914-D's for $800 back in 1970. Maybe it was not getting started in the hobby earlier. It could be anything you'd go back and do differently in the hobby.

Apropos of the coin posse/aka caca: "The longer he spoke of his honor, the tighter I held to my purse."
I don't kick myself that I didn't buy stuff earlier, it's a hobby for me.
New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

My regret was not to embrace PCGS/NGC/ANACS stronger and earlier.

On the other hand, no regrets that Marty lives 1,000 miles away and Russ is about 3,000 miles west. That helps keep the carnage in the Phila. area coin shops to a minimum.

I also passed on buying Qualcomm @ $8/ share in 1998 or 1999 because there was pending litigation. Stock still went to $800 after three or four splits.
