The second nicest example of this date we have handled in years. This coin is arguably an EF-40, but we believe PCGS net graded this piece to VF-30 due to a very faint obverse staple scratch from the rim at 7:00 on the obverse to beneath Miss Liberty's ear. The strike and originality are superb. Softly toned in steel gray and gold hues. The wing feathers are fully struck to the tips and E PLURIBUS UNUM is complete and sharp. The obverse hair detail is strong beneath the headband. A truly magnificent piece. A prize for the advanced collector. Don't let this opportunity slip by. 28995

If the coin looked like this picture, I'd sell off a bunch of my stuff to get it!

P.S. What kind of moron brings a staple within 100 yards of an XF 1901-S Barber quarter. I wonder if the staple scratch perp was not later sent by a very disgruntled father/collector for a very necessary partial lobotomy.

As Tyler mentioned, the Heritage picture does show a shaddow of a scratch, but the JJ Teaparty picture doesn't show a mark...even when you know the exact location of the mark.
