Heads up on an eBay image thief.

RussRuss Posts: 48,514 ✭✭✭
Both of these auctions are images stolen from my past auctions and are not the coins you'd get if you won:

If you eMail and ask, she will lie and say they're the actual coins. Well, she may not lie now since I already nailed her for lying. But, she would have.

Not real fun having pics stolen, especially when you invest a lot of time into it and try to get the best photos. Then some lazy bum comes along and rips you off. Then eBay doesn't do jack about it.
Well sometimes they do if they are in a good mood.

A couple months ago, I made a post about photo theft and some people told me that I was such a bad, bad person for not letting them steal my photos and I was horrible for even pointing it out to them - the poor schmuck - let him have the photos. It's a compliment . . . right?

I emailed this loser to ask if I get the coin pictured. I also asked if they usually steal photos and alter them regularly. We'll see if they respond. What a fraudimage

I like the picture of the 1968-D half altered from a 1968-S proof!

Yep, she did some other editing also. Here's the original:

A lot of bait and switch negs and neutrals. No surprise there.

eBay won't do anything to here because her auction is ending too soon. If you want to watch her you need to be sure to report ones that end later so that gives eBay jerks a few days to scratch their booties.

As have I. Actually, my images get stolen quite frequently. I usually just let it slide, but when this seller lied to me about using actual images of the coins she's selling, I figured she's probably doing the same to others and a warning should be sounded.

Can't you just see her playing the PowerSeller card to eBay?

"But...but...I'm a POWERSELLER! You can't do this to me!" image

I'd guess that I probably do at least three times her volume each month. Not sure if her power screwer card would do her much good. image

Well, it took several eMails after eBay's initial "we don't see substantial similarities" refusal, but they've now nuked her auctions.
