Another day, another vam.....
I actually made to the show before it officially opened, there were people buying and selling already, I met with Ernie and Darin and as usual after a ritual dance I started my hunt for Morgans. I was talking to Darin who was talking to another dealer with a fantastic collection of coins for sale; by fantastic I mean out of my price range. Anyway he had some Morgans (within my price range) and I started to look at them. I also wanted a new contact and I bought two nice enough morgans.

My second stop was at the dealer who I usually have luck with, he did not disappoint me this week. First I bought this 1883-O Morgan with weird die adjustments, did anyone seen anything like that before???

Then I took a look at another Morgan 1900-P and I noticed some doubling, I did not have my little black book with me... opps I mean my vam book. When I came home I looked and ...... bingo 1900-P VAM 11 TOP 100 (these vams top 100 are way too easy to pick) I hope I'm not jinxing myself

My final stop was a dealer who had several morgans in a couple of boxes, first a I bought this 1885 with nice surfaces, just one shallow scratch below hair
1885-P Morgan
Then I bought ANOTHER 1878 7/8 TF, besides this being a nice vam (I have to figure out which one) and for $85.00 I could not resist
1878 Morgan
I left early still with some cash in my pocket, I was a great day to be outside. The traffic was much lighter than usual, the weather had to do a lot with it.
