I messed up and put a stop payment on the wrong check and they cashed my $4000 check. I was resigned to the fact that I was in for a legal battle.
Last night there was a responce to my numerous E Mails asking about delivery. Still waiting on a delivery date, but I am glad to know he exists and hasn't headed for the border yet.

Post back when you actually have GOOD funds in hand. The "refund is on the way" tactic is standard in the con artist handbook and is used as a delay tactic.

I bought a couple of Kurgerands from a guy on eBay who had about $150,000 of other peoples money.
When the police went to talk to him, he showed the detective where he was making refunds.
By the time they went to serve the arrest warrant the guy had left the country and went back to his native Brazil.
