A couple of RUSS type halves

Picked this up out of a very large group of mint & proof sets I did yesterday. The Halves have a very good shot at DCAM while the nickels are a solid CAM. Isn't it nice to know that Russ doesn't find them all.

It's such a hassle to submit those things, and I'm sure you must have better things to do. So, I'll help you out. Sell them to me. image

Nice halves. I really like the second one. 67 is the easier year for these guys, but not easy by any stretch of the imagination, so the grading standard for 67 is much like it is for modern proofs. Looking at the pics, the reverses were shot in slightly lower light so it's hard to get a feel for the degree of field frost. Coin #1 has some frost apparent around the tail, but I'd figure it an easy Cam. Coin #2 has full white devices. If the mirrors are good (no frost), it's a strong shot dcam. There appears to be a light hairline in the obverse field in front of the bust, but if that is not a hairline and there are none hidden in the fields, that's a very high grade piece. Nice find.image

I've been looking at 67's in cam/dcam. Those are very nice specimens! image

Gads -- if one of those JFKs does not DCAM, I will walk to wherever you live and kiss your rosy red arse and then walk down to Newport Beach and kick David's ... image

Edited to change: I appear not to know where Russ lives. I thought I did. The truth is, he lives a nomad experience, shuttling from town to town with little more than the clothes on his back, a laptop and his precious hoard of AHs. In recent months, he has been tracked from Area 51 to Argentina to Costa Rica, and at last report, Gnaw Bone, Ind. ... be wary of any strangers wandering the streets, asking "Can you spare an AH, mister?"

I agree with Don, while both JFKs are superior, No. 2 appears more so, true?

Edited to add: Glanced at the first post, saw JFKs, the thread title and misspoke about the origination of the first post, but then, on the upside, I appear to be psychic, as perhaps our one-nad man will acknowledge ... and I, did know where he lives -- for the moment. image
