Finally found my Barber half in the Benson catalog online

Lot 1068, Benson II sale
Believe it or not, this is the first time I've ever bothered to look it up.
I have owned the coin over a year, and it must have been reholdered
very soon after the sale. It now resides in a PR63 CAM holder (still
with the Benson pedigree). I certainly don't see any of the "mottled
colors" the catalog mentions, even on their pics. It's an all-white coin.
They are probably right about it being lacquered in the past, though.
That's what is visible at 9:00 on the obverse; a trace of old lacquer.
So it was obviously "curated" at some point, though it really doesn't
look that different in the auction pic than it does now.
The pics from the catalog:

My crappy flatbed scanner job:

I don't need to tell you that I paid waaay more than the estimate price for it, after it was in a CAM holder. But I've never regretted that.

heres mine, it is a Benson also - a PRF63:
Nice to own one just to say I had a pedigreed coin.

(Duh. Never mind. Just reread your post.)
I got mine off eBay, too.
Nice Barbers. It's kind of cool to see the coins right there in the catalog.
