Coin Collection Software?

Does anyone use collection software? if so, what kind? Does it help you keep track of Raw and Slabbed?

I use Coin Elite. Yep, you can track raw or graded, even has a drop-down listing the various services. Strangely, though, ACG is absent from the list.

Collectors Assistant works really well for me. Has a database of coins you can enter automatically, along with stats, grading criteria and other info.

I am also shopping for a good collection software. I would preferably have a nice, description, date, mint, grade, and so on with the possibility for a picture to be inserted and viewed at the same time, along with the notes, and basic info on the coin. Do either of these offer something similar, I am totally clueless here.

I also use Coin Elite. I found a little glitch over the weekend though. I was inporting the backup file after reformatting my hardrive, and for some reason the backup file didn't save dealer names. Other than that it's pretty easy to use.

Coin Elite works great for me. I also have created a number of MicroSoft Word and Excel folders.

One of the really cool things about Coin Elite is that you can track sold coins.

It kicks them into a seperate file and keeps track of your gain or loss.

The reports you can build are also great.

I also use pen and paper for now. I will eventually do a spreadsheet or something on Excel. Coin Elite is nice but I don't really have a lot of coins so I don't need a program to keep track of them yet. Not to mention, I rather use the $79 or $59 on a coin purchase.

I use Coins Explorer, it is by far the best I have used and I have tried them all! It can be used as it comes. or you can customize it to suit your needs exactly.

They give a free 30 day trial...

NumisExpert is great. You can keep track of raw and slabbed, coins you buy, and coins you sell. The list of grading services is extensive and it even gives you a value (free regular pricing updates if you buy the software) for the coin. The printable reports are great too.

I had some coin software, but never really used it.

Back when I had a collection to inventory, I used the Heritage "My Collection" database, which was pretty good, for my purposes. And free.
