  I have not spoken with Darin directly for a while, but I did communicate with a mutual friend yesterday about a local (Maine) coin show in November, and when asked if Darin would also attend, he said 'He may'. From that I would infer that Darin is alive and well, and still selling coins. Not much to go on, but it is something.

  Darin's and other part-time dealer's activities have probably slowed in all respects while the market is correcting. Once things pick up again, the coin activity level should do as well.
