Poll what do you think is the coolest IHC error.

Granted these are are all show stoppers in my opinion, and I could not afford a single one off them, but I can dream.

Which do you enjoy the most. I did not post a picture of the double headed 1859, (Could not find a pictures) But not to hard to imagine I would guess image

If I forgot any that you guys think are cooler, let me know and I will add it to the poll if I can.

It's a shame they had to do that to the cap to get it in the holder. image

It was a deep cap, looking something like this.

I'M KIDDING, I'M KIDDING! Actually, I'm only half kidding. The coin was a deep cap before it split apart, but it split apart at the Mint! Probably.

That 1859 is pretty sharp, about how many mills deep is that.

I thought that was pretty dam funny, Andyimage

It's not an error, but I think the 1908-s/s rpm is cool, since it's the only rpm for the series, it's rare, and I have one in 64rb.

This one came on a trade...note the fibrous material in the upper portion of the cavity formed by the lamination. Looks like a piece of wood struck into the recess.

Ican not find any info, on how the machinery was set up to hold the dies. Out of the three Cap Dies that were shown all are obv. Is it possible to have a reverse capped die.

    Ron

My fav is the capped dies, I like all three of them shown is this thread, but I still like the split on more.

Jeeze, that's downright criminal (OK, maybe that is a bit of hyperbole, but that is horrible).

I've owned both the IH struck on a Gold plan and the Large multi struck Cap (Sunburst nick name).

While a few of the IH struck on gol plans exist, I prefer the Unique Sunburst mutli struck Cap.. I t was one of my all time favorates.
