Home Trading Cards & Memorabilia Forum

A couple of recent additions...

I took the train to Westchester last weekend and actually found quite a bit to buy. These have really kick-started a small side project I've been slowly working on...

This was a really fun show, as my girlfriend came with me and helped me pick out the cards. I was (obviously) looking for All-Stars and League Leaders, and one dealer had multiples. So, my girlfriend was in charge of picking out the best example of each. I think she did a great job...what do you think? This is very much of a collector grade collection, but one I'm having fun with.

Amazingly, just as I was leaving, I even found a Will Clark card I needed...

Great stuff, Drew. I've often thought about starting an All-Star collection - just never got around to it.

Oops. Just realized I had doubled up some scans and omitted others. I updated the original post to show everything I picked up on Saturday...

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

  • That is a great start to a fantastic all-star / league leaders subsets.

I do miss the Topps all-star cards. I especially liked the Sporting News ones.
