PSA 4 1952 Topps fake Mantle

What do you all make of this card? It is the first of it's kind that i've seen encased in a psa slab, the seller does explain it as a fake reproduction.
I was shocked at how high the price went....you know a card is bad ass when even a novelty reprint can get that much $$

Has anyone seen anything like it?

How was it encased with a flip? (didnt bother to see if the serial # checks out)

    Last week we had a thread about this card and guy. Notice how he claims it is a PSA 4 yet at the same time says it is a repro?

    Crusty looking slab looks to be resealed (plenty of frosting). Add the counterfeit flip and it's all leaning to the dark side. The cert # is good, but the rest of the package is bogus.

    Is it against ebay policies to sell a reproduction card? I don't believe it is if stated truthfully....?

    I thought this was a hack job that looks almost real, I was more surprised at how much it ended at...

    Of course it went that high
    The real criminal here could be the buyer, who will pass it off as real one day
    If ever questioned, he can say he didn't know, he bought it already slabbed
