<< <i>Nice diverse group of cards. About how many different types do you have so far? Are you doing some team sets as well? >>
I just looked at an older inventory spreadsheet I had typed up a while back before going on a vacation and found 101 different card sets represented. I noticed that the 1961 Nu-Card Scoops Pascual wasn't listed, so I must have gotten that one on that vacation and not updated the list.
If I were to include the different Kirby Kards I have, it'd be well over 250 different sets. It's fun researching the vintage sets to find a card with a uniform showing the "W", or a neat pose. I'd recommend this type of collecting to anyone!
<< <i>I always liked the design of the 34 Goudey >>
Me, too. That's a classic design! When I was trying to score a card from that set, I had placed two JustSnipe bids for two different cards, thinking I'd cancel the other order if I won the first. Forgot about it and ended up with this one too:
<< <i>Might you be intereted in any Senators/Twins from the 1964 Topps set. >>
Thanks for the offer of help! I do have a 1964 example (#290 Bob Allison) in the collection. I was collecting as a kid from '62 thru '68 primarily, so I had plenty to choose from.
