8 X 10 FRAMED SPORTS MEMORABILIA (DONT MISS THIS)

I have a whole bunch of framed 8 x 10 sports photos, all of them are famous photos or capturing a very special moment in sports history. I am trying to sell but I wanted to try this place out before I ventured to eBay. I was informed this was the best place to discuss sports cards & memorabilia, I just sold off my card collection for 275 dollars a couple months ago. I am now looking to sell some of these special framed photos. I don't have room for them anymore. I hope they find a happy home from somebody here at Collector's Universe.

1973 Pete Rose Topps #130 card (1 of the few cards I have left) if anybody is interested in that!

Why would anybody buy something from you when are a brand new member and might be a scam artist? Also, this is not the right place to post selling crap. That's the selling crap forum.
  • Sorry for posting this in the wrong section, like you stated I am a new poster therefore I was not informed. If I was a scam artist, dont you think I would have told?

Also this is a memorabilia forum, so I posted it here. I saw some guy selling his glass display cases, so why shouldnt I put this here?
  • Who tells people they're a scam artist before they scam someone? Hmm. Anyways, welcome to the forums. It's just sort of offputting when someone pops in hocking their wares from day one. But yeah, I would try the "buy/sell/trade" forum, you'll have better luck there.

Didn't you notice that zero of the other threads on this board were people hawking goods.

This is a cop out, and you are a spammer.

    Hi Hester

    Welcome!

As was said - this is a forum for discussion stuff that we're interested in.

It sounds like you're getting out of the hobby?

This - I'm affraid - is the worst venue to have a "going out of business" sale.

For the most part, the people who occasionally "spam" their stuff here are full time contributors and have "earned" the right to spam.

    You? Have not.

This is - in no way - a statement on your integrity or reputation - it's about entitlement - you have none.

Just think if 100 people decided to come here - from ebay - to announce their sales? We would have to wade thru tons of threads looking for topics to discuss.

I do wish you luck and of course - the spam board is all yours.

If ya change your mind and decide to jump back in? Please don't be a stranger.

This is a great place to hang your hat!

Edited because it does not matter. Good luck to you.
  • I am sorry for posting a topic in the wrong section. It really isn't a big deal, you guys are making it out to be a physical crime as if I ate your children or pillaged a small village.

It's an internet forum, calm down.

To the people offering welcome, I appreciate it.

I am not having some "go out of business/sell all" type deal going on. My mom and my stepdad moved to Hawaii and he couldn't take a lot of his sports memorabilia, he gave me the stuff he could do without and told me I could sell it and keep the proceeds.
  • compared to some of the (recent) threads posted on this forum this is refreshing. best of luck.
