Question about 92 Proline Portraits Paul Tagliabue Auto

I picked up a 92 Proline Portriats Paul Tagliabue Auto a couple of months ago. After I won the item, I got this random email from another ebay user that the signature was an autopen. Does anyone know if this is true? I would like to know before I send it in to be graded. Any info would be appreciated!

I google searched proline portraits tagliabue autopen and got no results.

I would suggest you find a couple scans online and compare them to each other and yours.

There are a few autopen signatures in the Proline stuff. The Jack Kemp in the 1991 issue is definitely an autopen, the Jim Kelly, and I believe the Joe Montana's as well. Since these are all stamped "certified" no one questioned them at the time.

I found several copies for sell on eBay...other than placement differences...the signatures look identical. He either has the fluidity of Rembrandt or it's an auto pen...

Well, I'm not going to bother sending it in. When looking at the other signatures, they are too identical for me to think its legit. Thanks to everyone for all of the help. Looks like I need to find another Tagliabue autograph!

Beckett's Football card catalog even calls it an autopen.
