Group submission for oversized cards

The February CC Special, $6 for 25 or more cards with a 45 day turnaround time, includes oversized cards. I have about 10 cards to submit right now, and I don't think I'll be able to bump that number up to 25 by the end of the month. Anyone want to combine orders to get to the magic number? Let me know.

    Will they fit in a 5 x 7 holder or are they bigger than that?
  • PSASAPPSASAP Posts: 2,284 ✭✭✭
    Not sure what the size max. is, but I know that 5x7 cards will be graded under supersized cards. Anyone know what the max. is?

    I had a Spic and Span card I was going to throw in on the last group sub until I realized it was a hair too big. So I have one card I would like to sub if anyone brings this together.
    Looking for Carl Willey items.

    I could add about 5-6 to your sub.

    I should have thought of this before, but better late than never. Let's start a running list of the number of cards you want to submit. The next person will add his/her name and quantity of cards to be submitted:

    hookem 2

    Please let me know as I will send to BGS otherwise.

    Question: All I have to sub these cards are 8x10 toploaders, is there anything else that will work? For say 1980 Topps Super cards?

    Hey guys,

    These are the different SIZE CATEGORIES that PSA lists:

    * Standard - 2 11/16" x 3 13/16"
    * Tall Boy - 3 1/2" x 5 1/ 6"
    * Supersized (Ticket) - 3 5/8" x 7 1/2"
    * Supersized (Check) - 4 1/4" x 10"
    * T-3 Holder - 5 3/4" x 8"

    Can all cards larger than "STANDARD" be grouped together or do you need to list all four OVERSIZED cards separately? I think they must all be separate and if that is the case then that means separate shipping and separate MINIMUMS (25 in each category).

    Doug - You are correct, each sized holder needs to have 25 cards to qualify for the special.

    Guys,

    You should list what size category your cards are in so you know you have a 25 minimum for your submission.

    I would GUESS that they are both SUPERSIZED TICKET size. Would you agree?

    The OP may want to verify the sizes and keep his own running total in his first post on this thread so he knows you have at least 25 in each category. I may have a few to send in to you as well. I'll let you know very soon.

    How much time do we have before these cards are submitted? I ordered a few raw sets of early 80's Police cards last week and am waiting on them to arrive. I'm sure they'll be a few of those that I will want to submit, depending on your timeframe.

    PSASAP-

    Are you ready to start receiving our cards and payments? Also, do you have any specific instructions you'd like us to follow to make it easier for you?

    Thanks

    Are we still going to try and do this since we now need to reach the minimums in each category?

    Yes, this group sub is still on. I'll PM everyone on the list with my address, and you guys can start sending the cards.
    Thanks,

  • I confirmed with PSA today that the holders must all be the same size. I'm not sure where that leaves us though?

    I just got off the phone with Christie in customer service. She said that tall boys can't be mixed with oversized cards, but as long as the cards are classified as oversized cards, they can go in the same submission (e.g. Hostess Panels may be submitted with 1967 Topps pin-ups, even though they don't have the same dimensions.)
