my waverly82 results...

I was bashed in a earlier thread about ebay seller "waverly 82" after i made comments about his ooccasional overgrading... Apparently i was about 50% correct on the matter as all of these were purchased by me and just sent in. I did state however that the Deckles were the best i have ever seen. I was right.

Interesting return. And, there but for fortune, the grades would be different if twas in other hands....

I think you recieve vouchers only when you submit a card that has been improperly cut at the factory.

Nope!! that is "evid of trim". When you get your pops the only refunds you will get is either they don't grade it, or it says "not Holdered" with nothing else added to that comment.

    Eric will take returns.

As for the vouchers..........psa did spend the time on the cards.

do you really feel that a voucher should be issued on cards that were looked at?

I see that this submission did not take a year and a day to get done.

    Good for you.

Interesting, but the last time I bought raw 71's from him and submitted them, several of them came back "recolored" as well. I haven't bought from him since...

    PSA does on certain categories.

of course they do in certain categories.. ie: minimum size req..

DEFINITELY not on altered cards (ie: re-colored).. they have never issued vouchers for altered cards, and they never will.. all that would be doing is rewarding card doctors..

I have been informed now, that there is a 40x magnifier to use. Next thing you know i will be at the Griffith Observatory using that $50,000,000 lense of theirs to check my cards....image

To me, seeing one seller unload tons of recolored cards tells me to avoid that seller at all costs. Am i the only one who feels that way?

I bought one of his "MINT" cards just to see for myself. It was a 1976-77 Elvin Hayes with a big roller mark on it! Stevie Wonder could have caught it so I'm not sure how he didn't! I most likely won't be back for more.
