What do you think of this gouge on my indian head?

Now I realize gold indian heads are supposed to look incuse, thats their design, but look on the left side of the neck on mine, it doesn't seem to "flow" with all the other sunken designs.
Here's a link, for best results , please save it and zoom in at it on infranview.Indian Head

I also looked at it under my cheap 30X micronta (Its one of those cheap handheld microscopes) and did not see any die polish around the neck , or any heavy die polish at all. Which is odd.

Huh? Boy, I can't stand these DIY posts.

If you honestly want opinions on a particular coin, then you need to find a way to post a clear picture of it here so we can view it. If you are counting on us to figure out which picture you mean and then how to enlarge it to see what the heII you're talking about then you have vastly overrated the give-a-crap factor of this audience.

I have seen that on a number of $2.50 and $5 Indian's. It is nothing to be bothered by or excited about.image

Also, as has been pointed out - if you want feedback from forum members you need to make it a bit easier/more convenient for us to provide it.

Alright, thanks for pointing that out. The reason I said that is because when you open up a picture on infanview it is a close up picture, so I figured people who had it it would be a good way to view it. I will post pictures here from now on. I really didn't think it would be much hassle to click on a link. (After all, people post pictures of coins on eBay all the time, and they never complained about it) I also thought the link went right to that picture, I didn't know until someone mentioned it that it went to a collection of them. Also, I did mention which picture it was, the top left.

I think he really meant "gorge" and not "gouge".
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

    The name is LEE!
