Give you $125 for it all... image

    (Hey, that's a straight 25% profit!)
  • There was a thread not too long ago, someone was asking if anybody ever found coins at yard sales. The popular opinion was no- but I think you just proved that theory wrong.image

By the way, nice bunch of coins

Actually, if you moved it at 10% back of bid you should be able to make 10X your money!

    Dude, you suck.

That's a hoard that Smaug the Dragon would envy.

What's the fake Pan-Pac octagonal? A silver piece? National Collectors Mint? I like it.

Marty.... quite easily...there are 4 sets of '65 SMS sets, One Prestige 1984 set that has frost on the outside of the case..... Theres the silver bars, 4oz rounds.

crap...just selling those are going to make some serious profit over what I paid. Bet her ex is kicking himself...

BTw...here's the '84 half obv...can't get a decent shot of the rev....there is NOTHING on this coin...the dust is on the plastic.

  • Heck, I count 5 - 1979 proof sets. If just one has a Type 2 SBA he'd make his money back. Let alone hit a 1981 Type 2 SBA. I say he can make 3 - 4 grand without spending any grading fees. Kudos to you my friend, major rip and a major score.

I can see it now, everybody going to be hitting the yard sales for the rest of the summer... LOL!!!!

Great deal. I would have jumped on it too but dare I ask what we'd be saying if a dealer paid a little blue haired lady the same price?
I know, I know this is different, just a thought.

Check the 79 and 81 proof sets for type II's if you haven't already.

I think the seriff needs to be a little more round on the S to be the type II but I wouldn't swear on it.

After checking the 5 sets of 1981's, they are all type I....but all are frosty as hell and only one of the cents has carbon!!!

Will check on the 79's next....
