Re: Slabbed coins - There are some coins that LIVE within clear plastic and wear their labels with pride... while there are others that HIDE behind scratched plastic and are simply dragged along by a label. Then there are those coins that simply hang out, naked and free image

The 1905-O Morgan dollar seems interesting----where was it made? Shanghai?

I've got just the thing for you. All freshly holed. I can take 'em off my vest and put 'em back in the original box.

Would you like the set with or without the 1804 dollar?

No, I would take one cent, cash money, for that 1905-O Morgan.

But it has to be an authentic 1815 cent. image

Any kind of stickers you want. My daughter has some cute puppy and kitten stickers.

Eh, whoopsie- I just realized I was TTT-ing my "sale" thread excessively and now the mods are likely to delete it... or me.

Sorry. I was having so much fun that I forgot. image

Happy April Fool's Day, everyone. I claimed two or three victims this year, with the same list from a few years ago (upgraded slightly, of course).

Mods- before you spank me, I shall now cease and desist and let this thread sink.

I believe that 05-O Morgan was really a branch mint proof, so check the rims. Check out Judd-1772.9834923048.

I also understand it was coined by the "midnight minters" by candle light after an 04 obverse die was hastily modified to form a 5 out of the 4, so possibly it is a fantasy overdate.
  • Would you be interested in a trade?? I have a nice 1881-S Morgan. It is graded MS73* by NGC. It is the highest coin that they ever graded, but they put an asterisk next to it due to the allegation of luster growth hormones and strike steroids. Let me know.
