FSH: various American Silver Eagles
I have 4 ASE's for sale; 1995, 1996, 2007and 2008. All are in various conditions. The 1995 as a couple of minor spots, the 1996 key date is loaded with milk spots, the 2007 has a couple of minor spots, and the 2008 looks to be pretty high grade. Impaired condition such as milk spot etc? The last time Uncirc ASE /spot +$2 or less from major bullion dealers was 2017 with 10% ebuck and no sale tax on Ebay. -

Re: Rust on silver coins?
Silver reacts with the sulfur in the air. Milk spots happen and as far as I know cannot be removed. Old silver coins turn black and cracked around the edges. Their "rust is iron oxide" argument isn't as strong as the "rust like process that metal endures" meaning that people use. Keep calling it rust just to annoy them :)… -

Milk Spots on Proof Silver Eagles are much easier to address than the business strike counterparts. Also, not EVERY Silver Eagle is going to spot. -

Yep, I agree with Russ! I have a couple of these here! Nice CAM/DCAM AHs with spots! Milk Spots do not come off!!! -

I stopped collecting these so no. Until the milk spot issue goes away I will only accumulate if I can get them close to spot. -

I would vote for getting rid of these, with all the problems with the milk spotting issue. By the way, I love the design of the coins I just hate it when they spot. -
