Re: TO THE NAXCOM USERS *UPDATE*
<< <i>Does Naxcom have frequent problems with their website? I'm new to selling on there and wanted to get some listed today but everytime I start listing the site shuts down. Also has anyone used the bulk listing tool? If so, how long does it take them to get the listings up? >> Is it with uploading pix of your cards? I… -
Re: OT- Highest graded Action Comics #1:Superman's Debut up for auction on eBay...HAMMER: $3,207,852.00

<< <i> << <i>Maybe some. Personally, I don't feel like I'm missing anything while viewing a coin in a slab. It's first and foremost a visual experience, not a tactile one, to me. I've honestly never held a coin in a slab and thought, "man I really wish I could just touch this coin". Never crosses my mind. Regardless, we're… -
Re: Point made. This has been a fair discussion for collectors and for the graders who are NOT culprits
<< <i> << <i>This from the only poster to bring "homo slams" into a coin discussion? You are not standing on a very strong platform. >> I don't care. I'm losing what respect I had for you over this. It's real easy to continually slam someone not here to defend themselves, isn't it 'big guy'? >> No. You're talking about the… -
Re: eBay buyers with an unconfirmed PayPal address...what to do?
<< <i>, PayPal will always side with the buyer in this situation. >> Not true, Paypal has also sided with the seller where the seller was the scammmer, example: My friend bought a couple of cards from a seller, seller sent them to him with a tracking number Friend opened the box and found it empty. Paypal sided with the… -
Re: Poll: Do you want Gemmy10 off these boards?
I think only people who display no knowledge of sports or have no interest in learning about sports, should be banned. Otherwise, why visit Sports Talk? I see nobody here that posts regularly who meets that criteria...therefore nobody in my opinion should be banned. However, I agree and I think even Gemmy should agree that… -
Re: Need Some Help Please?
i work at an isp. AOL asks all large ISPS and domain owners to call them and get whitelisted if too much email was sent once upon a time from their mail server. once done, mail is delivered quite normally. are you sending email through your ISP's mail server? can you call them and ask them if they are whitelisted at AOL?… -
Re: Breakdown of TPG listings on eBay - It seems ACG has dried up
Interesting. If this was compiled using each company's name and/or acronym as a keyword search, though (I can't imagine how else to do it), then how would one exclude the keyword spammers who put "PCGS" and "NGC" in their titles or descriptions, when they're selling raw coins or coins slabbed by other services? And how… -
Re: Returns on a slabbed coin that turned out to be altered
I feel your pain Illini The only bad situation I have had sortta like this was a 1796 quarter I sold...actually traded a guy over 10 years ago. It was the rarer variety. It was a nice original coin that had been contemporarly bent and circulated long after. It probably had VG10 details. We did a retail trade in the 6K… -
Playing dealer this weekend at the Tukwila show - had a good time!

Set up for the 1st time at a show, got a good location and enough extra space on the table that Bochiman joined me. 1/3 of the case was educational, teaching people about rare holders and hoping that down the road someone will offer me a piece or 2. It was interesting being on the other side of the table - most people were… -
Re: .
I'd still be here, but there is a distinct possibility that I might not be a paying member after 2010, since I am (for the most part) done slabbing except for the occasional upgrade or new piece. "Chicken/egg" : Until a couple of years ago, I had only one year of membership with PCGS (and that was to grade 3 specific…
