Re: Bernie Williams leaning to sign with Yankees as a minor leaguer
Joined: May 2006 Let's do some quick grote15 math.... Feb 2007 minus May 2006="2 months". LOL. Beautiful. Keep the gems coming. Longetivity means jack--by the way, I don't care how long you've been here, it earns you nothing. Zero. Treat others with respect. Be a man. You weren't raised right, that much is obvious. But… -
Re: Watch out for this ebay buyer!! Need some advice.
I just had someone try to hold me hostage. I may have went overboard, but I Emailed Ebay and Paypal about the incident, to have it on their record, I then told the buyer to send the item back in the condition it was sent to him in and he would have a refund of his initial shipping and price, that's what Paypal will do if… -
Re: Bri and Softparade...........
<<< I remember this well. Stitstell Shearon did IN FACT sport a New York Yankee logo for ... a week or two. I forget the duration but I SAW IT >>> Axtell is what he is, but he's never welched on a sigline bet. There is one sigline bet welcher on here that I'm not going to mention anymore, but I'll never again place a… -
Re: PCGS Launches 'CoinFactsWiki.com'
This has given me an outlet for the many PCGS slabbed coins pictures I have taken over the past few years. I agree that the security on the site needs to be upgraded, It would be better if each person were to be approved by a moderator before being allowed to edit or post. Another idea is to protect the pictures so that… -
Re: Man, this would SUCK!
I was looking at paypalsucks.net and some other anti paypal sites and there are some new companies that will process your credit card sales for less than paypal. Just have to get enough buyers to pony up with it. It apparently does not make you provide confirmation and stuff, no so much a tool for scammers as it looks like… -
Re: It's time PCGS stopped body-bagging and started giving "details" grades.

<< <i> << <i> << <i>Having the coin in a major brand slab, authenticated, is a big plus when selling...especially on eBay. >> so use a competitor. pcgs is nothing special. K S >> I think what Karl means is "Why is it so damn important for you to slab the coins anyway, what's wrong with keeping them raw?" >> If you plan to… -
Re: Block this ebayer!
Beware of a new scam among buyers. As common as it seems and as unrelated as the buyers appear, this must have been picked up off some bulletin board. Basically, the scammers - usually with solid feedback - are sniping auctions and then making lowball settlement offers after the auction apparently after reviewing the… -
Re: PSA Flip Auction on Ebay
I don't have a problem with the seller. I've sold to him with no problems, and I've bought cards from him in smooth deals. He's a solid buyer/seller in my book. Not sure why he's selling used flips here, but who in their right mind was going to buy them with the intention of trying to then scam someone on some off grade… -
Re: You Know Me-- Why Don't I Know You?
The people you want most to reveal their identites are the people that are most likely never to do so. Trolls, flamers, bad ebay sellers, scammers will never reveal anything about themselves other than what is absolutely necessary, and even then that information is suspect. I respect honest people that do not wish to… -
Re: This is a nice ship coin
<< <i>Most honest eBay buyers may not consider themselves bound by restrictions that are usually aimed at scammers. >> That's a very interesting point, and probably applicable to some of our bidders. But I would think big red bold words would discourage even the most persistent term-violating bidders. Because at the end of…
