Our first Club Show report.

We had our first show today in what might be termed the Modern Era for the local coin clubs. In a rather neat moment of nostalgia, a collector came up to me with a token which had inscribed on it "Painesville Coin Club---7th Annual Show" and it was dated sometime in 1968. I know they were held in the same location as this… -
State Quarter Mishaps (from Netscape)
NEW YORK (CNN/Money) - Did the Old Man of the Mountain die of natural causes, or was a curse the culprit? The distinctive rock formation had been famous since Native Americans roamed the White Mountains. More recently, New Hampshire selected it for engraving as the state's contribution to the U.S. Mint's "50 State… -

Re: MLB suspends Astros GM and manager for 1 year, $5 million fine, forfeit draft picks
true, if they had done something about the Red Sox/Fitbit watch thing from the beginning then maybe some of it would have stopped - although teams are always going to push the line. But if the Athletic report on the Astros and then the Red Sox hadn't come out, what would have MLB done? Most likely some minor investigation… -
Re: Aaron Hernandez had severe CTE. NFL & Pat's being sued
Also everyone under the age of 25 is basically retarded when it comes to money and can't make good life long decisions where large sums of money are involved. Probably 90% of the college football players never make the nfl but could have CTE by the senior year from hits to the head. They may or may not get a useful degree… -

DIGGER'S DIARY FLASHBACK: a review of some of the interesting tokens I've dug over the years

While discussing exonumia and locally-significant tokens with a friend, I was inspired to make this post about some of the interesting tokens I have dug up during my years of metal detecting. I thought a sort of review might be interesting. I would also welcome any additional information that can be discovered about any of…
