Re: 2013 Proof Buff Sold Out!
Don't know why they can not show the real final sales price instead of some bull$$ number they show as the sold price. Just goes to show they can not be trusted any more than many of the scammers and ripoff artist they allow to sell on their site. Showing something as sold on 12/10 for $ $ 2,949.75 when it was sold on 12/9… -
Re: 1976 Vending Case on Ebay
<< <i> << <i>Here's a kicker: The listing for the single auction boxes for sale, if memory serves, was lifted from Felicia's Dutch auction listing when she sold single boxes from the 76 case she bought.. >> good eye >> OK, I'm convinced the seller is a scammer base solely on the shilling, but any chance that he used a… -
Re: Somethig odd with an eBay bidder and auctions he wins...or is this just coincidence
Second chance offers can only be completed through ebay. If you get an offer that says to contact the seller only, it is a scam. I have often offered items that I had duplicates of with this procedure. When a second chance offer is made, ebay creates a listing (with item #) which can easily be verified. Just plug the #… -
Re: Dr. Gregory DuBay's counterfeit coins presentation at the Philly Expo (lots of pics)
DuBay has developed a diagnostic classification system, I through IV, for counterfeit coins, and a similar system for counterfeit dies. Class I counterfeits are the crude pot-metal fakes of the kind that started to appear in particular in online auctions about five years ago. (Remember the "Savannah Scammer"?) Class IV… -
Re: GRADES: 2000-P Sacagawea 'Cheerios' Dollar FS-401 PCGS MS67

Re: Cry babies
I had a card sell for one penny plus the 2.00 shipping. Buyer took 2 weeks to pay, the day after I recieved payment he was accusing me of being a scammer etc... After the 4th Email I told him off and I never heard another word from him, he got the card left me a positive and I added him to my BBL. I basically told him to… -
Re: just how accurate are PSA population reports?
<< <i>If I cannot change this obvious mistake, then I am assuming that there are a lot less actual PSA 10 gems. >> Was it that obvious? I appreciate what you are trying to accomplish, but a scan of a card in a PSA holder does not prove that it was removed from the holder, so you can't fault PSA for not acting on your word.… -
Re: Was offered free shipping and insurance. Should I take it??
<< But my question is, can't he screw me over if I don't pay for insurance? What should I do?? >> If he wants to screw you, he will whether you take the insurance or not. Even if you pay for insurance, he could still say something like "he forgot to do it" or something like that. Of course you could sue him in small claims… -
Re: Nedsk and the Jay Wolt lovefest
Picking up the card was smart, but I still ain't bidding. An old pyramid scam trick is to payoff some of the early people in the scam so that they gain confidence in the scam and tell others that the scammer is legit. This IS paoutdoorsman2004 - no question in my mind. I remember before he was "an attorney selling off the… -
Re: Easy money
its an interesting approach- make your auction look so bad that people start thinking there is no way a scammer could be that dumb and therefore must be legit. Here is the response to my trade offer they sent me just before they went NARU- do you think they'll still sell if to me now? Response from mother060 : Item- t206…
