Re: Nothing. I mean almost ...NOTHING.... beats a "guaranteed buyback."

Yesterday a dealer came to my table said he would buy 2 coins I had $98 in for $240 what I quoted - said wb back (cdn bid on them $220). Both… -
Re: Is BBCE finally drying up?
I have not been tracking 70's, but in the last year paid close attention to 80's stuff. I picked up a 1981 wax from BBCE last year at $90, a few days ago (not gone) it was at $165. A 1983 box I think was around $140? Now $195. I have not really searched out for 1982 or 1983 rack boxes, but at $335, that seems pretty hefty.… -
Re: 1958 Inaugural San Francisco Giants Set

But he would be on the team card (#19). 5 Willie Mays 19 New York Giants CL, TC 21 Curt Barclay 37 Mike McCormick RC, UER 68 Daryl Spencer 86 Valmy Thomas RC 107 Ossie Virgil UER 111 Stu Miller 128 Willie Kirkland RC, UER 136 Jim Finigan 152 Johnny Antonelli 166 Danny O'Connell 183… -
Re: I love the 1980s! The ultimate unopened rip quest to build Topps, Fleer, Donruss PSA 10 sets...
You cannot have one 1986 Mets’ star without the other. I started collecting in late 1986 before going all in by 1987. Clearly the Mets were all the rage having just won the World Series with the young nucleus of Gooden and Strawberry. Darryl was the first superstar card I coveted. I still contend that Strawberry’s 1987… -
