Years ago proof set scammers would chrome plate business strike coins and sell them to the unknowing as proofs and well...at least they appeared to be a proof and possibly could fool you. There is no excuse here though. It is obvious that these bidders can't even tell the difference between a proof and business strike. -

References or at least pics will help you out quite a bit,as no one in their right mind would buy a several thousand dollar coin from a new member with only 3 posts. Not that I'm saying that your a scammer,just that you will have a very slim chance of selling this coin. -Hayden -

Stone- is the holder the size of post 57' or is it the larger vintage cards like the 52 mantle pictured? I bet you could list it on ebay and get $20 from a scammer lol. I think the one Mantle that is being sold as the one from the court case is in one of those cases. -

I reported him to eBay and we will see ! I am tired of all of the scammers including those placing PSA in their GEM listing and have been reporting 100 % of them for the last week ! Same thing with the PSA 9 listings that "forget" to put in OC !!!!!!!!!!! I am mad as @ell ! -

Dan - just don't try to sell it like some of the scammers on ebay/yahoo Yeah - maybe that would work - keep inventory really low, list items you don't have for a higher price than the other website, and then if you do sell it, scramble to buy it fast, would that be legal? -

The reverse is untoned. All the others scammers AT crude I remember seeing is toned on both sides. How could he use heat and tone only one side? One sided toning used to make me feel better about higher probability of NT until seeing this one -

Hey guys--just wondering if anyone has dealt with this ebayer before...Seems like a scammer of some sort. I think I should have stayed with my gut and not sent a money order. Paypal is the better way to go. Let me know if anyone knows anything about her/him. Thanks Che -

Even on it's worst day - Mint packaging is 1,000 times better than this scammer! I would think that the average Joe would realize that a coin going on Ebay for $350 plus and finds a seller listing one for no profit realizes that there may be a problem here. This is just unbelievable - hope this seller gets his due.
