Neat Draped Bust 1795 $1 at Pawn Shop
Sorry for the poor pics. I found this 1795 $1 at a local pawn shop. It definitely looks genuine. It’s the off center variety. I’d grade it 50-55 but it has an obverse scratch on the bust that will make it go details. What’s it worth and is it worth toying with? Asking $5500, I bet they’d go 4500-5000. -

The Belmont Stakes
Post positions to be drawn Monday. Looks like a field of 9 to the post. Still not a true Belmont as it's run at 1 1/4 mile instead of the traditional 1 1/2. So it's the Derby distance. -

IMO, there are 1/1 and then there are 1/1. This is a kind of trick 1/1, and there are a lot of them. A Hoskins flagship 1/1 or superfractor would get a lot of interest. This is not really different than any other Hoskins auto card. I agree, 10 bucks is a good starting point.
