Can happen in coins or stocks or anything that is bought and sold. An entity buys up a lot of one thing on the sly and on the cheap. Perhaps it is simply typical government incompetence. The US Mint did not make any money last year according to the recently released annual report. Naturally, nobody mentioned all the unpopular stuff that they were still sitting on years after making it for collectors and figuring out where they went wrong.… -
