I got a '99 Griffey Int'l refractor for a $40 BIN, graded a 10 and sold for $400. An '06 Finest Gold Xfractor of Griffey I purchased for $150, graded a 10 and sold for $1200. some of my biggest "hits" were non sport......1956 Adventure cards, I bought an almost complete set for not that much (can't remember exact price) submitted about 40 of them and got back several 9's that sold for over $200 each.....also had a 89 UD Griffey from a set that I bought for $100 that I had grade a 10 and it sold… -

I opened a pack of 1986-87 Fleer basketball I bought from BBCE in 2005 for ~$250 and pulled a Worthy, Checklist and Kareem that when subbed all received PSA 10s. I sold the Worthy for $2001.01, the Checklist for $4750.00 and the Kareem for $1200 on eBay. So ~$250 plus some grading fees became $7951.01. Robb -

In the mid-late 90s, before I ever heard of PSA, I was buying 1986 Fleer basketball sets w/o Jordan for $40-$50, and cherry picking them for a mint set.
