If I was selling and I thought spot was going down I'd be selling for little above spot if any, to unload it before the drop. But if I thought spot was going up I'd be selling for a premium over spot, figuring that spot would be there soon. I certainly wouldn't be seeking premium prices for something I thought was losing… -
