   used to crazy glue coins to the sidewalk and watch people try to pick em up on Brighton Beach. lol

   i remember in some bar years ago they had epoxied a quarter on the bar and apparently got a kick outta every time they saw someone trying to wisk the coin away.

   Not a rhyme but when we were kids--that's the connection to your tale of woe--we would pitch nickels on the sidewalks. Closest to the crack in the sidewalk won, and if your coin leaned into the crack you won double. If you bridged the crack you won triple. I loved pitching nickels....
