   The coin was mine until last week. I bought it years ago from the late and great Toned coin dealer Charlie Boyd. That was one of my favorite Morgan toners Russ sold for me on consignment. Someone ripped that puppy way, way,way too cheap .IMHO

   Russ, I have a few that have that look and I prefer it over the so called rainbow toning. Mottled toning seems a whole lot more natural to me. dizz to each his own but rainbowers are a dime a dozen in my view. Not that some aren't very attractive but they are way common.

    I've handled scads of rainbow bag toners, end rollers, target toners, album toners, and monochromes of various shades. After a while, it gets to the point where not many of them get me excited. This one did. I hadn't seen an example like this before. Very striking colors that just sparkle! Reverse is white. Russ, NCNE
