Working with only 17 to 19 atoms, I'm wondering if they arrange themselves into the buckyball spontaneously or is it possible that the researchers assembled the bucky? I know that Carbon bucky's can't be created anywhere near that small but the electron sharing done by metals is so different that this type of form may be… -
