Re: The Memorial "Ebay seller "nedsk" - Anyone win his auctions?" Thread aka "
I think it's worth keeping an eye out for potential big time scammers such as this. Remember Toniscards wherever the heck he is now. The degree to which Nedsk was a scammer can be debated, but in my view Nedsk should be classified as a scammer. Reviewing his current buying pattern does suggest he "could" be getting ready… -

<< <i>Ryan, don't take offense, but why exactly do you want nedsk booted off eBay forever? >> I'm not as pessimistic. If I was an honest wax dealer, I would be disgusted to see a scammer ripping people off and flooding the market with resealed goods. It hurts the hobby in general, and makes it harder for the honest dealers… -

<<< nedsk items >>> This guy in my opinion is obviously going for a massive kill. And he's getting it - I hope he also gets some jail time. But these "professional" scammers seem to tactically know their way around the legal system to avoid prosecution. Crime does pay on Ebay. <<<I made arrangements to pick up my lot in… -

<<< he is only selling items of a friend so he can't vouch for them >>> These stinkin' scammers always have some "excuse" don't they? This guy appears to have scammed about 10 - 15% of his recent customers. If say a local contractor scammed 10 - 15% of his customers, he'd probably windup in jail. Yet on ebay it seems as… -

<< <i>I have been saying all along that something seems fishy with these items - but I cannot explain exactly why. For example, how do you explain the 1500+ feedback and Powerseller status? Did he just sell a bunch of small items, with this as his master plan all along? I just wonder how one person could have all of these… -

PhillyFan - Yea, I've been watching this myself just out of curiosity. No way was I thinking for a second about bidding on this stuff. Not to browbeat anyone here, and I would never root against anyone getting scammed and not getting their merchandise - but we clearly warned you about this guy. We ain't right here every… -

Hey - I'm glad it turned out well for "most" of the buyers. Most times and I'd say virtually everytime we are correct in detecting scammers. Sometimes it's an easy call - sometimes it's a tough call. But we call 'em as we see 'em and let the chips fall where they may. Turns out this guy seems to be more of an incompetent… -

Ryan - Thank you. It's great to see a dealer that is willing to help control the number of scammers out there. Whatever the real facts, nedsk selling for himself or a friend, there is a problem with much of his product and no one should give him their business other than that required to take him out. Keith -

Yep - it is completely understandable what everyone is saying here - pro and con as to whether or not this is a scam. Also remember that scammers know that the bigger the scam, the more likely it is to be believed by the public - this has been illustrated in big scams throughout history, including recent history. And I…
