Re: Isn't it time to let this five-year-old thread just ... die?
Bochiman, you bring great discredit upon yourself by falsely representing a quote in your last reply. If it is your opinion that is fine. At least have the intestinal fortitude to post it as such. Do not fraud the forum by editing a statement and representing it as a quote, which it clearly was not. -
Re: Isn't it time to let this five-year-old thread just ... die?
Hello The reason that I don't just "go away" is because if I did you all would move on and pick on some other honest person! I wouldn't even wish that on Matt or the monkey! Yes Russell, I wouldn’t wish it on you ether! I have had five returns and I have refunded Six! I have a neg, but then you most likely didn’t have Mark… -
Re: Isn't it time to let this five-year-old thread just ... die?
<< <i>There is a big difference. We didn't all sign up here on the same day like you and Poe did. >> Fine, but this is ONE transaction out of 337 and everyone is set to crucify him. Bottom line neither of the parties acted in a generally acceptable manner. If your gonna blacklist poe for this one transaction mirabela aka… -
Re: Isn't it time to let this five-year-old thread just ... die?
It takes someone of some IT skill to use Linux and to send a virus. Even though that virus is Wintel-based, I would not be surprised to learn that Catfish and Poe are one and the same. Apparently, you didn't see my sig. I don't know many pipefitter Journeymen that are in IT. Do you? I use linux because it is actually… -
Re: Isn't it time to let this five-year-old thread just ... die?
Anyway, I'm curious how you are so certain that this explanation is "false?" The headers you supplied did not trace back to his IP or computer. I knows his IP. I am trying to help him set up a way to host better images than the space eBay allows. I accept it is your opinion that you were "abraded", but, they don't look… -
Re: Isn't it time to let this five-year-old thread just ... die?
Not to sound repetative, but isn't the real issue that Poe has engaged in a deceptive selling practice - grossly over-grading a coin, printing a Return policy that is non-existent and then claiming that the person he screwed (Mirabela) is A) either switching the coin or altering it to somehow try and discredit him (Poe)? I… -
Re: Isn't it time to let this five-year-old thread just ... die?
Look, Catfish. I think you're basically sincere so I'll try to get you to see it from where I sit. Remember the quarter in the pictures, the one you finally admitted is the same coin as in the seller's scans? Well, let's suppose you try in the first place to get that coin insured, but the guy won't do it because he already… -
Re: Isn't it time to let this five-year-old thread just ... die?
<< <i>[ Now, on to your absurd response that clearly and deliberately ignores the obvious in your full on effort to stand up for the slime of the world. If the seller selects "not offered", no insurance line appears in checkout. That fact makes it complicated for the buyer to add insurance and, to any thinking person… -
Re: Isn't it time to let this five-year-old thread just ... die?
<< <i>Despite the "troll type" comment, I'll respond. The shipping amount is full editable and that is where you add the amount required for insurance on auctions that have "not offered" in the insurance block. Go back a couple of pages in this thread and you'll the details on how to do it. >> Gee, a troll just said I made…
