Thanks Merc and Barberlover for the kind comments. I've been wrong before so many times on what to keep and what to sell. But my gut feel was to move out off coins I felt didn't offer a good probability of return over the next few months to years. Gemtone65, thanks for the comment. When I can't attend shows I like to hear what others have to say. I should add that most of what I sold was type coins in the 63 to 66 range. I did sprinkle in some MS63 to 64 generic gold type, as well as a few commems and Morgans. I sold a very beautifully toned 1923 NGC67 (90% head)… -

Good suggestion. Even if you are a diehard who plans on never selling, it is a good idea to occasionally check/verify what you are doing by offering selected coin(s) for sale. Unless you've been around the hobby for years, it's a big help to test the waters at times. And there is no better time than now to start weeding… -
