Braddick (or any other copper expert): Is is possible to AT just one side of a coin? The reverse was full red with a few carbon flecks ... I have seen many proof Jeffs with toning on one side and blast white on the other, so I did not think copper would be any different. But, I am an admitted neophyte on copper coins. -

Purple/Blue is a totally legit color on copper and is the first color it turns when it oxidizes. Perhaps on silver its an AT sign but very common on Lincoln's. I just went through an original roll of 34-D Lincoln's that had more than a few coins with the edges starting to turn rainbow purples and blues. The end roll coins… -
